Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain pushchair that provides light weight and excellent maneuverability. The compact fold that can be folded with just one hand makes it simple to move. It can also stand on its own when folded. The padded seat reclines to a near-flat position, and there's an enormous storage bin and canopy. Baby suitability: Yes and with a separate carrycot (not suitable for sleep over).
A well-constructed suspension and air-filled tires will help you to handle rough terrain. It's also suitable for jogging, although you must wait until your baby is six or nine months old to do this.
Ickle Bubba XL Air
This lightweight pushchair from Ickle Bubba is packed with lots of features that parents will appreciate. It comes as an entire travel system that includes a lie-flat carrycot for newborns, a multi-position forward and rear-facing pushchair seat and a selection of group 0+ car seats, so you can get everything you need in one place.
The XL Air is a really impressive vehicle, and it's easy to see why it's received such high praise from its customers. It is extremely light with the chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg. It's extremely easy to put together. I was able get it up and running in just five minutes. This is amazing considering that it includes the fabric for the carrycot to be attached.
The seat is wide and comfortable for Annie who is 12 months old. The recline lever was simple to operate. There's plenty of space inside the basket and I like the fact that it comes with a zip-up compartment in the handle bar so that you can keep your keys and phone safe!

The handlebar is low, which can be a problem for parents who are taller. But, it's covered in a gorgeous leather-like material that is soft and comfortable, and it wipes down easily, making it still easy to push even with children and bags on your hands!
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is designed for athletic parents who want to get outside and explore. The large pneumatic wheels can be used on forest and field trails. The front wheel can be locked and can be rotated for added flexibility. It also comes with a padded 5-point safety harness and a front bar to keep your little one safe throughout your journey, while the parking brake is able to stop the stroller from moving while you are taking a break. The seat can be adjusted to a laying position and the canopy can be opened for maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to accommodate the needs of dad or mum.
The Runner will accompany you on any adventure, whether it's a quick walk, a longer hike, or a long-distance walk. It comes with a lay-flat seat with suspension air wheels for an easy ride. The front wheel can be locked for greater stability on narrow streets or overcrowded sidewalks. The stroller is also able to fold up to fit in car boot spaces and storage spaces.
Some parents have reported that the Runner 2 to be a bit harder to navigate than its predecessor and the locking mechanism is less user-friendly (requiring two buttons on the opposite side of the push bar). The handlebar is higher than other strollers and therefore it may not be suitable for parents with shorter arms however, overall it's an extremely sturdy and flexible stroller worthy of consideration for families with active kids.
Red Kite Push Me Pace
The Pace is a different great product from Red Kite, an affordable British brand that is known for its well-designed and no-fuss essentials for parenting. It's their latest and the most expensive addition to their bargain lightweight stroller line. Similar to the Ickle Bubba Aurora or Yoyo, it is car seat compatible so it can be used from birth.
The new Pace boasts some fantastic design features, including a rose gold tint to the chassis, hood and stroller trims that really set it apart from its rivals. The car seat and stroller fabrics are stylish in tan, grey, and cream. You can also add the handle in leather and the bumper bar to match.
The stroller seat can be used from birth until 22kg. It converts easily into a 2-in-1 reversible position, which is either parent-facing or facing the world. The stroller seat has multi lie back positions, soft padded leg rest support and an extendable sun canopy with hidden zip sections, a through flaps and a retractable sun visor section.
What's more, when it's folded, the Pace measures up at 56 32 x 43 cm which means it can be used as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair among others. Two buttons on each side are easy to use and click into place.
Bugaboo Fox 5
The idea behind it is to create the ultimate all-terrain pushchair, Bugaboo's latest Fox 5 promises to do everything. Its unique chassis, which has a shorter wheel-distance makes it more mobile than its predecessor. I tried it with my two children one of whom is eight weeks old and the other toddler - on rocky roads along with grassy wooded trails and even cobblestones.
The large puncture-proof wheels - 22cm or 30cm in size are able to handle a variety of terrains. They also come with an easy flap that opens or closes to let more air in should you need it and is a nice addition. It's a bit bigger than other pushchairs, however it isn't heavy or bulky when pushing over bumpy surfaces.
The seat fabric can be machine washed and the faux leather frames and grips are easy to clean. It's also a lot quieter than some pushchairs, and I felt confident using it on busy city streets. Another benefit is that it has integrated accessory points. This means you can add footmuffs parasols, changing bags, and even a snack tray. You can also use the hood to block out wind and rain, although it isn't particularly waterproof. The single pram can be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) which allows your child more leg room. It took around 20 minutes to put together the bassinet, and the same amount of time to convert it to the seat.
UPPAbaby Ridge
No matter if you prefer an early morning run in the cool air or a moonlit stroll under the stars, the UPPAbaby Ridge makes every moment a fun-filled adventure. This all-terrain stroller was designed to keep you and the child active.
The huge 12" and 16" foam-filled tires offer an easy ride, regardless of the terrain. The patented suspension allows you to glide over paths in the woods with less impact on your child's legs and rear. And the durable performance disc hand brake allows you to stop quickly, even while running downhill.
From bustling 3 wheel buggy to street musicians playing a tune The Ridge can navigate all your favorite city scenes effortlessly. The spacious basket can hold everything you need and market purchases, while the huge canopy provides protection from wind and sun. The canopy's large front unzips to reveal two peekaboo windows that make it easy to monitor your little one's surroundings.
The Ridge's reversible seating allows you to choose whether your child faces you, or the world ahead. The simple foot brake system makes it a breeze for new parents. A fantastic feature is the reversible handlebar, that allows you to adjust it to your height and preferences. And unlike some jogging strollers the Ridge folds stable and stays upright when folded.
iCandy Core
iCandy's new pushchair is truly groundbreaking and comes with a host of features that are really going to wow parents. It has a Multi-Mode Wheelbase and a groundbreaking LED Hub Light, which is a first for the industry. It also features an integrated Ride-on Board, which helps save on future costs and makes it easy for a tired toddler to join your family on outings.
The Core is available as a travel system or a single seat. It works with most popular car seats, such as those from Cybex Maxi Cosi Joie. It has the largest seat unit of the iCandy line, which means you can use it to help your baby's start and beyond. It's a beautifully constructed pushchair, and it is made of premium knitted fabric. The parent's adjustable handlebar and child's bumper bar that can be detached are made of soft leatherette, while the folding calf support folds away and is super comfortable for children.
I was impressed with how easy it is to fold and collapse. It only takes one hand, even with the seat unit in place. And it fits easily into your boot and hallway, making it perfect to travel with. The iCandy Core includes a variety of accessories, including a matching changing rucksack or liner/footmuff.
